Old company, new digs! After 30 years in business, Rings & Things is getting its own building! We're leaving our current 16,000 sq ft space for an entire 28,000 sq ft warehouse, which we purchased this summer. We're especially excited about having three loading docks, all on ground level (we currently have to use passenger elevators to haul all shipments to our ninth-floor space.) And because you, as our customer, helped us achieve this milestone, you too will reap the benefits of our new building! With more storage space, we can have more stock on hand when you order (and fewer back orders!). You'll also find a bigger, better showroom and easier parking. Renovations to the new building are already under way, and we hope to be moved in and operating there by January 2005 (but it could be as late as March).

What better way to celebrate the new warehouse than bribing our customers to help us move? Our current space holds room upon room of discontinued items, and we really don't want to lug them with us! Our 2004 Fall Supplement, aka the Big Gemstone Book, packs every regular-stock gemstone bead we carry into one 56-page book. This means you can peruse our entire gemstone line in one place, instead of sifting through several old supplements or clicking around our Web site. The book also includes an introduction section with insider tips on the gemstone market, measurement guides, a strand-length chart, a description of enhancement methods, and more. Look for new gemstone bead shapes, such as barrel, egg, faceted fan and faceted marquise, plus expanded lines of puffed disc, faceted square, faceted rectangle and faceted rondelle beads. These shapes and more appear in the book's abundant sample jewelry (and if we do say so, it's some of our best pieces ever!). Also, because you made them a best-selling item, we've converted some of our Web-only jumbo gemstone pendants into regular stock, spanning four pages of the supplement.
